Responsibilities:
- Assist Operations Managers manage commercial maintenance crews
- Daily scheduling of crews
- Training crew members
- Time spent on-site with crews coaching on the technical aspects of maintenance
- This position must ensure company standards and customer quality expectations are met on each job, including property inspections
- Completes landscape maintenance duties, such as mowing, fertilizer application, weed control, aeration, clean-up work, trimming and pruning
- Operates a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to edgers, walk behind mower with velke/commercial mowers, blowers, chainsaws, line trimmers and etc.
Skills/Knowledge Required:
- 2+ years experience managing multiple landscape maintenance crews
- Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Must be comfortable supervising employees and meeting deadlines on a daily basis
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Good vision and hearing
- Able to work in extreme weather conditions
- Able to climb ladders for tree pruning
