Austell, GA – On May 5, 2011, HighGrove Partners participated in a volunteer community service project with the Arthur M. Blank Family of Businesses at their annual “All Associates Day” project. Falcons Owner & CEO Arthur M. Blank and his team of associates from the Atlanta Falcons; PGA TOUR Superstores; Atlanta Falcons Physical Therapy Centers; The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation; and AMB Group join together each year for “All Associates Day,” when they volunteer their time to address a need in the community. This year’s project entailed a playground build at Vine City Park and a BeltLine clean-up project at Washington Park.
In preparation for the Beltline clean-up project, HighGrove Partners, along with Downey Trees, removed some hazardous trees, cut up logs into transportable sections and cut down the undergrowth throughout the site. On the day of the event several HighGrove employees volunteered and chipped much of the debris, which was then used as mulch in the park area. Post-event work included coordinating with Downey Trees to remove debris that was not able to removed the day of the event.
“We were thrilled to be a part of this great community initiative. The Blank Family of Businesses is just an outstanding group and we’ve had the opportunity to enjoy a long-term relationship with them. We were more than happy to contribute,” says Jim McCutcheon, Chief Executive Officer of HighGrove Partners.
